SPEECH
Reporter speech adalah kalimat tidak langsung
(indirect speech), yaitu kalimat untuk menyampaikan yang telah dikatakan
seseorang kepada orang lain. Kalimat tidak langsung tidak mengunakan tanda (“…..”).
kaliamat langsung (direct speech) dapat diubah menjadi kalimat tidak langsung
(indirect speech) tanpa mengubah makna. Reporting
sentence dalam bentuk past akan terjadi perubahan pada tenses, pronoun, dan
adverb, namun dalam bentuk present hanya akan terjadi perubahan pronoun.

Perubahan adverb

a. Statement
(pertanyaan)
1. Bila
kata kerja pengantar (says, tells, advises, dansebagainya) dalam bentuk present

2. Jika
kata kerja pengantar dalam bentuk past, maka kalimat tidak langsungnya berubah
